Challenges our clients face
Only 11% of companies in Japan use AI agents for both internal and external purposes, compared with 50% globally. Investment appetite is high, but actual use is still catching up. Japanese companies have significant room to grow in how they use AI.

Vision versus reality: six barriers to AX
Companies face six barriers across planning, proof of concept, implementation, and operation:
- Not knowing where to start
- Security risks
- Data infrastructure and business operations that are not ready
- A shortage of AI specialists
- Projects that end at proof of concept and never reach production
- AI tools that go unused in the workplace after adoption
Our Businesses and Services
Since its founding, ExaWizards has tackled Japan's AI advancement while operating its proprietary "Improving model revolving around AI (AI Guru-Guru Model)" to achieve its corporate mission of "realizing a happy society through solving social challenges using AI."
AI Guru-Guru Model
The "Improving model revolving around AI (AI Guru-Guru Model)" is ExaWizards Group's proprietary business model that continuously solves corporate challenges at their root through AI, from management to frontline operations, by endlessly cycling between "practical implementation in the field" and "productization (systematization)."
Our Two Businesses
AI Solution Services: solving client-specific challenges
We work mainly with large companies. Through their management and business challenges, we identify industry and social issues across many sectors and propose solutions. We deliver fully customized AI solutions for management challenges, help clients build AI agents with exaBase Studio, our enterprise AI development platform, and co-create AI-powered services with them.
AI Products: solving challenges companies share
To solve business challenges that many companies share, we develop and provide products that clients can easily adopt and use in their day-to-day operations.
Competitive environment
In recent years, social challenges such as aging populations, declining birthrates, and climate change have become increasingly severe, and structural changes in society are progressing rapidly. Amid such changes, the requests from stakeholders—including customers, employees, and investors—toward enterprises have also evolved, and corporate activities can no longer be discussed without considering social challenges. Additionally, accelerating Digital Transformation (DX) has become urgent to address these challenges. Strategic IT investment by Japanese enterprises is projected to expand 2.4 times over the coming years(1); however, in-house engineers with expertise in AI, positioned as a core technology for DX, remain scarce. Through the "AI Solution Services Business," the Company solves corporate challenges in major industrial sectors, thereby addressing social challenges deeply connected to those sectors. The Company also provides services spanning from strategy formulation to implementation for DX promotion and AI utilization at each client enterprise, while supporting the automation and in-house development of AI software within customer organizations.
Note: "Domestic Cloud Market Forecast, 2021–2025" by IDC Japan; the Company defines combined cloud sector spending as "strategic IT investment."
