At nursing care service offices and facilities, carers need to keep nursing care records on PC, etc., to retain daily records and share information with others after providing care services. However, it is a big burden for them to take a note while assisting people or input information after their care operations. If they can automatically keep records while providing care services, their operational burden will be eased, and they will be able to spend more time with people who need care. To meet demands from carers who want to perform record keeping while they talk, ExaWizards developed “CareWiz Hanasuto-kiroku (automatic voice recording application),” an AI-enabled application to keep nursing care records.

When care staff speaks aloud the name of a user of a nursing care service office or facility and the type of assistance to provide, the AI technology reads and records only words related to nursing care. The records will be displayed clearly in the form of colorful cards so that other staff can see them shortly. Carers can easily share information on how much a person who needs care ate and drank and how well that person was only by checking the application.

CareWiz Hanasuto-kiroku links to CAREKARTE, nursing care record keeping and fee-charging software provided by Care Connect Japan, Inc., which has been introduced by 12,000 nursing care service offices and facilities and welfare service providers for disabilities all over Japan. After recording voices by using CareWiz Hanasuto-kiroku, data can be transferred to CAREKARTE easily so that you can seamlessly conduct operations from nursing care record keeping and information sharing through insurance claim procedures.
According to a user survey targeted at staff at nursing care service offices and facilities, automatic record keeping successfully saved 40 minutes per staff per day. With CareWiz Hanasuto-kiroku, ExaWizards aims to reduce burdens of care staff, increase operational efficiency at the entire facility by sharing data with CAREKARTE for mandatory record keeping, information sharing, and insurance claim procedures and allow carers to spend more time with people who need assistance. In the future, we will make efforts to have the application link to other software for nursing care record keeping and fee-charging software and increase the number of nursing care service offices and facilities that will become potential users.
