“exaBase Generative AI Powered by GPT-4″ by ExaWizards Accumulates and references company information for business-oriented transformations

ExaWizards Inc.(Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Makoto Haruta; hereinafter referred to as “ExaWizards”) provides the “exaBase Generative AI Powered by GPT-4 (hereinafter referred to as “exaBase Generative AI”),” a ChatGPT service for enterprises, which contains functions that use the dedicated Generative AI environment to incorporate unique internal and external information. The service will support business-oriented reforms by generating information based on the company’s own commercial materials and internal regulations. Prompt templates and practical tutorials are also included. All of these will be made available in September 2023.
ExaWizards aims to provide AI services and products to improve the productivity of Japanese companies, thereby solving social issues.
☑︎Purpose of the new functions
exaBase Generative AI, a ChatGPT service for businesses launched in May 2023, has already been used by over 10,000 users to improve business productivity. This new functionality will allow customers to use the information they already possess with exaBase Generative AI in their daily business operations. Uploading “proprietary data” files (PDF files, etc.) is all that is required to set up a dedicated generative AI environment.
This function handles important internal and external information and also enhances data security and privacy. Utilizing Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI cloud service’s East Japan Region allows generative AI processing and proprietary data accumulation to be completed within Japan’s borders. In the future, all exaBase Generative AI APIs will be replaced with the same region.
☑︎Proprietary data utilization main features
Support for a variety of file formats: PDF, CSV, TXT data formats are supported, and additional data formats will be added as required. Uploaded information can be shared to the entire company or by department.
Privacy and security: Proprietary data is stored in Japan and can only be accessed by subscribers. The generative AI is processed in the East Japan region of the Azure OpenAI Service.
Fast and accurate retrieval: Uploaded data is optimized and stored in a format that can be used by the Generative AI, allowing for fast and accurate retrieval and generating information relevant to entered prompts.

☑︎Usage fees
This function will be provided free of charge up to a certain amount of data. A fee will be required for storing larger amounts of data. Fees and conditions will be announced at the official service launch at the end of September.
There is no charge for the initial upload of proprietary data (PDFs, etc.).
☑︎Other Enhancements
The following new features will be introduced in September 2023.
(1) Prompt templates
Prompt templates that allow users to select the appropriate prompts for each major task from the exaBase Generative AI screen. A function that allows clients to register and manage their own prompt templates will also be added.
(2) Practical prompt utilization tutorials
Practical tutorials developed by ExaWizards’ prompt engineers will be available at no additional charge to paid users of exaBase Generative AI. This content is designed to improve practical skills when entering prompts for everything from improving business productivity to examining business development ideas.
In July 2023, support will commence for GPT3.5-turbo-16k, which allows the use of large amounts of text data. It is currently capable of entering 16,000 words (8,000 Japanese 2-byte characters), four times what was permitted previously. (Note that the number of characters that can actually be entered is less than 8,000 words due to the API specification of Open AI, Inc.)

Many organizations have been using the service since its May 2023 service launch. This service is designed with corporate security and compliance in mind. exaBase Generative AI allows administrators to monitor usage and register prohibited words.
