ExaWizards Launches a Generative AI Training Service to Help Regional Financial Institutions Resolve Issues

ExaWizards Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Makoto Haruta; hereinafter “ExaWizards”) has launched a training service to help regional financial institutions to innovate with generative AI and resolve local issues. The service was developed based on the company’s experience in supporting regional financial institutions’ use of AI and developing and operating ChatGPT services for corporate clients. We offer three services that teach the basics of generative AI utilization, prompt utilization for regional financial institutions, and workshops to support regional industries using generative AI.
ExaWizards has many regional financial institutions as clients and supports them in implementing and utilizing AI. The Group’s ChatGPT service for corporate customers has provided services to 30,000 users as of December 2023.
We have identified the common aspirations of companies regarding generative AI, such as “We would like to teach employees how to use generative AI with regional bank operations” and “We would like to increase the use of generative AI within the bank, but we do not know where to start.”
In response, we have developed a service that enhances the ability of regional financial institutions to utilize generative AI in their own operations, improve the productivity of their employees, and provide support to local businesses and organizations. Yamaguchi Financial Group and Concordia Financial Group are already using our services to improve their operations.

The following three services are available for use in business operations at regional financial institutions and in consulting for regional companies. We also provide support for the basics of generative AI and its use in general business operations.
(1) Video training for beginners
Our video lectures for bank employees provide an overview, basic usage instruction, and points to remember concerning generative AI. Participants learn how to generate emails when making appointments with clients and how to efficiently understand client information. Even those who already have basic knowledge of generative AI will learn to gather industry information and derive support plans for use in regional consulting, and will understand how to use case studies and use cases specific to regional financial institutions. Some leading regional financial institutions have made viewing this video a condition for using generative AI.
(2) Basic Prompt Engineering Training
This online lecture assists participants as they write input command prompts. Participants will also learn about prompts tailored to the business characteristics of regional financial institutions, such as surveying regional companies and creating templates for consulting proposals. Participants will improve their “prompt engineering” skills by repeatedly entering and revising prompts based on generative results to increase their accuracy and optimize their instructions.
During training, each participant will be issued a limited-time account for exaBase Generative AI powered by GPT-4 (exaBase Generative AI), a ChatGPT service for corporate customers from the ExaWizards Group. exaBase Generative AI is a service for corporate customers that accounts for security and compliance.
(3) Generative AI workshop program “AX Ideathon”
This program addresses the challenges faced by DX promotion departments and others in banks when promoting the use of generative AI services and exploring use cases. The program is designed to generate ideas for the effective use of generative AI for action plans to improve productivity and customer experiences through business innovation at regional financial institutions, and to support local industries and businesses.
The eight-week program will be facilitated by consultants who are experts in idea generation. We provide consistent support from the design, operation, and implementation of the Ideathon to the selection of ideas that will contribute to the PoC. Both online and offline formats are available.
