Daiwabo Information System Signs Distributor Agreement Selling “exaBase Generative AI” through a Nationwide Sales Network (96 Locations and 19,000 Partners across Japan)

Exa Enterprise AI Inc (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takuma Oue; hereinafter “Exa Enterprise AI“), a group company of ExaWizards Inc., is pleased to announce the signing of a distributor agreement with Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director, President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto; hereinafter “DIS“). DIS will leverage its regional sales network of 96 locations throughout Japan and 19,000 partner companies to sell “exaBase Generative AI”, a corporate-oriented ChatGPT service. Starting in the summer of 2024, DIS will manage orders and contracts for exaBase Generative AI through DIS’s subscription management portal.
Exa Enterprise AI aims to realize a society where human potential is unleashed and new challenges are embraced by providing AI services and products for improving productivity in Japanese companies.
exaBase Generative AI has been utilized by over 40,000 users since its June 2023 launch, primarily by large, listed companies. We provide individual exaBase Generative AI support based on customer requirements, to include in-demand functions such as secure data processing, opt-out settings for learning from conversation content, prohibited word registration, confidential information blocking, and log storage/reporting. DIS, the largest IT distributor in Japan, will now propose, sell, and support exaBase Generative AI to customers. Both companies will provide services to a wide range of businesses in Japan and support the widespread adoption of generative AI.

This collaboration will focus on three initiatives to provide exaBase Generative AI through DIS and its partner companies:
- Utilizing DIS’s domestic partners to reach customers
DIS will expand the exaBase Generative AI customer base through their 96 sales locations and 19,000 sales partners. They will be able to provide the latest generative AI technology to businesses of any size. - Service ordering and contract management support
DIS will provide exaBase Generative AI information and technical support and will manage service orders and contract details through the subscription management portal “iKAZUCHI” to streamline their partners’customer management operations. This support will begin in the summer of 2024. - Joint marketing activities
Exa Enterprise AI and DIS will jointly conduct marketing activities, including exhibiting exaBase Generative AI at DIS events. The goal is to increase awareness of exaBase Generative AI and expand the number of partner companies handling the service.

(1) Security and compliance
・All generative AI data processing is conducted domestically.
・Opt-out settings ensures conversation content is not used for learning.
・Prohibited word registration, confidential information blocking, and log storage/reporting functions prevent information leakage.
(2) Improved productivity through unique support features
・Data linkage to organizational regulations and materials (PowerPoint, Word, PDF, CSV, txt), and external cloud content (Microsoft SharePoint, Box,etc.) to generate accurate responses.
・Supports multiple large-scale language models, including “Claude 3” by Anthropic, “Gemini” by Google, and “tsuzumi” by the NTT Group. Standard templates (prompts) created by AI experts extract high-quality answers (scheduled to begin in May 2024).
・Allows users to calculate the time-effectiveness of improved productivity and view it on the exaBase Generative AI interface.
(3) Cost-effective
・Basic monthly fee of 900 yen per user.
・Visualize usage costs for each user or group.
・Set cost limits for usage.
