ExaWizards Enables In-House Development and Operation of Autonomous AI Agents with “exaBase Studio” – Transforming the platform into a hub for creating and nurturing services for office workers, supporting AI agents across the group starting summer 2025 –
ExaWizards Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Makoto Haruta; hereinafter “ExaWizards”) is pleased to announce that their AI platform “exaBase” will fully support AI agents across their group. Starting in May 2025, their AI service development environment “exaBase Studio” will allow businesses to internally develop and operate AI agents to leverage operational data and improve through human interaction. This initiative will address challenges such as labor shortages and productivity improvements in Japanese companies, focusing on office workers in sales and human resources.
As the adoption and utilization of AI advances globally, 2025 will be the “first year of AI agents.” However, Japanese companies still face challenges in implementing and utilizing AI, such as the lack of products and services that meet stringent security standards, insufficient in-house AI expertise, and a shortage of personnel capable of training AI.
☑︎ExaWizards’ Strengths in AI Agents
The ExaWizards group has been developing and providing generative AI solutions and products tailored to office workers in Japanese companies that demand high-security levels. As of the end of March 2025, the company has contributed to operational efficiency and productivity improvement at over 1,800 companies. Products like “exaBase Generative AI” and “exaBase DX Assessment & Learning” for discovering and nurturing DX talent have achieved the largest share in the domestic market and have evolved into widely-used AI product services.
By leveraging the knowledge accumulated through over 400 annual AI consulting projects, ExaWizards develops AI products practical for real-world business operations. The company has focused their efforts on developing AI products for HR and sales departments to address labor shortages and improve operational efficiency.
ExaWizards also emphasizes the utilization of internal data with generative AI. “exaBase Studio” and “exaBase Generative AI” refines the precision and usability of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), allowing AI to reference internal data when generating responses.
☑︎Full AI Agent Support for exaBase
In response to requests from Japanese companies, ExaWizards has decided to adapt the services and technologies of exaBase to AI agents. This will allow companies to maintain and enhance on-the-ground decision-making and responsiveness while streamlining middle-management tasks.
Starting in May 2025, exaBase Studio will provide templates that will allow businesses to develop services compatible with AI agents. From summer 2025, exaBase Generative AI will serve as the user interface, allowing the operation of AI agents developed in exaBase Studio within companies and the use of AI agent features from AI products offered by the ExaWizards group.
☑︎AI Agent Support in exaBase Studio
exaBase Studio provides application templates such as “RAGOps,” which allows companies to utilize internal data with generative AI for immediate business use.
Starting in May 2025, we will provide an “AI Agent Template” that allows companies to quickly build and operate AI agents, including autonomous ones, as well as a “Data Agent” to monitor and manage the state of data within the organization. Additionally, we will significantly enhance data permission management features to ensure companies can use AI agents with confidence.

Key Features of exaBase Studio AI Agents.
1. AI Agent Templates ‐ Build services using internal data, interact with users, and “nurture” them while utilizing them in operations ‐
These templates allow users to create and operate services by leveraging internal data and interacting with users to “nurture” the AI agents while using them in business. A management AI agent, called an “Orchestrator,” interacts with users and collaborates with multiple worker AI agents to execute tasks.
For example, the Orchestrator collects information about the company, department, and mission through chat-based interactions with the user. It then helps define the scope of tasks to be assigned to AI agents. Even when users provide vague requests, like “Find the cause of the budget gap,” the Orchestrator decomposes the task, recommends the necessary worker AI agents, and formulates an execution plan.
Users can also train AI agents by providing instructions and feedback via the Orchestrator. The worker AI agents are equipped with self-verification capabilities, improving their accuracy with continued use. Over time, they expand the range of tasks they can autonomously handle while enhancing precision.
2. Data Agent ‐ An AI agent accompanies the processing by users well-versed in data in an interactive manner ‐
The AI Agent Template on exaBase Studio places a strong emphasis on the utilization of data tailored to each individual company.
The Data Agent facilitates dialog-driven collaboration with users who are familiar with corporate data for data processing and formatting that suits AI requirements. Initially the Data Agent will support Salesforce CRM systems, with plans to expand to other enterprise services such as SAP.
3.Data Permission Management Function – The platform comprehensively manages access permissions to company data ‐
Instead of the AI agent directly accessing data from external SaaS or storage, it processes data using the dedicated storage of exaBase Studio. Depending on the role assigned to the AI agent and the type of resources to be operated, the platform finely controls the executable actions, confirms execution by a person as needed, and prevents unintended data overwriting or corruption in advance.
☑︎Options for exaBase Studio
The SaaS version will be available starting at ¥2.5 million per month, allowing unlimited simultaneous applications.Additional pricing options are available to facilitate adoption, with a minimum contract duration of one year.
☑︎exaBase Studio Implementation Schedule
May 2025: Launch of core features, including AI Agent Templates, Data Agent, and enhanced data permissions management.
Summer 2025: Introduction of a no-code user interface and functionality within exaBase Studio, allowing for a broader range of corporate users to construct AI agents without programming expertise.
Future Plans: Accelerated utilization of internal business data through integration with RAGOps templates, support for voice interfaces, and compatibility with smartphones.
