ExaWizards Establishes Exa Enterprise AI, A New Company to Develop and Sell Generative AI Services

ExaWizards Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Makoto Haruta; hereafter, “ExaWizards”), announces the establishment of a new company specializing in the development and sales of generative AI services. The company will commence operations on October 2, 2023 as Exa Enterprise AI Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Takuma Oue; hereafter, “Exa Enterprise AI”). Exa Enterprise AI will accelerate the planning, development, and sales of services that support business innovation, productivity improvement, and problem-solving through generative AI, such as large language model (LLM) and other state-of-the-art technologies.
☑New Company Background
ExaWizards has been providing generative AI services since May 2023. The corporate ChatGPT service “exaBase Generative AI powered by GPT-4” was introduced across a range of industries and has over 10,000 users. The development of “exaBase IR Assistant powered by ChatGPT,” a generative AI service specialized for IR operations, allowed us to enter into a business alliance with Takara Printing, an industry leader in disclosure-related systems for listed companies.
The generative AI market and their associated technologies are expanding swiftly. In order to create new services at market speed, we must establish an organizational structure and culture that specializes in developing new products and services. Therefore, we have spun off ExaWizards’ generative AI business to establish Exa Enterprise AI as a wholly owned subsidiary.
Exa Enterprise AI’s president will be Takuma Oue, the managing director of ExaWizards, who has worked with ExaWizards’ generative AI business from the beginning.
☑New Company Initiatives
The establishment of Exa Enterprise AI will allow us to rapidly plan and develop “AI assistants” to support tasks within companies. We will also develop AI services that go beyond these assistants to fundamentally transform corporate operations.
The goal of this planning, development, and service provision is to create innovative and operationally efficient systems to improve corporate productivity.
Exa Enterprise AI will work with Exa Wizards to develop a system that combines AI assistants with internal databases and existing mission-critical systems to expand AI services.
