ExaWizards Launched DX Promotion Seminar Business for Yamaguchi Prefectural Office
—Support for acquisition of expertise to development of practical strategies on DX in local governments

☑ Background
There is an increasing need for the promotion of DX in the local governments and public administration against a backdrop of changes in social environment and the diversification of residents’ needs, and it is urgent to secure competent human resources who can lead the DX promotion, having knowledge in both the administration and technology fields. However, achieving this is not easy; development of such human resources requires acquisition of systematic knowledge and measures for development which are based on the appropriate verification of the effects, while instilling awareness of DX throughout the organization requires establishing a system where promotion of DX can be primarily conducted by the respective departments in cooperation with each other.
Based on this background, ExaWizards has launched the DX promotion seminar business for local governments and started the first deployment of the service for Yamaguchi Prefectural Office.
☑ Special lecture by Mr. Naotoshi Sugawara, the first Japanese municipal CDO in Bandai Town, Fukushima
In the DX promotion seminar business for Yamaguchi Prefecture, a series of ten seminars will be held to increase the information literacy of the officials for DX promotion and to learn the technical knowledge that is necessary to plan measures that utilize the digital technology. The seminar consists of four steps, including “Basic introduction/awareness raising”, “Instructions before adoption/procurement”, “Expansion of options for methods for implementation”, and “Development of actions”, so that the participants can systematically learn about DX in local governments, from the basic knowledge to more specific methods. In each seminar, there will be an expert with successful experience in comprehensive DX promotion according to the theme, from a variety of lecturers including experts and those from outside companies, along with our human resource management experts and the persons in charge of the technology/product departments. In the third seminar, Mr. Naotoshi Sugawara, who is working for Bandai Town, Fukushima as the first Japanese municipal CDO, will give a special lecture and in the tenth, which is the final seminar, ExaWizards’ Representative Director & President Ko Ishiyama will host the workshop to determine the DX strategies.
In order to make this service more effective opportunity for developing DX human resources, the level of understanding and satisfaction will be measured in terms of both quality and quantity through questionnaires for participants after the end of each seminar. In addition, for those who are interested, the effect will be measured using the “HR-kun DIA”, our DX organization/human resources assessment tool before and after the seminar periods. Thus, we will appropriately understand the impact of the seminar and will provide support to put the acquired knowledge into practice or to examine measures for human resource development and organizational strategies based on the measurement results.
