PERSOL TEMPSTAFF CO., LTD. Adopts “exaBase DX Assessment & Learning” to Provide an Early Development Program within the Company

 ExaWizards Inc., a company that develops AI-enabled services to solve social issues (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Ko Ishiyama; hereafter, “ExaWizards”), has started offering PERSOL TEMPSTAFF CO., LTD (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazunari Kimura; hereinafter “PERSOL TEMPSTAFF”), a comprehensive human resource services company under umbrella of PERSOL HOLDINGS CO., LTD  a program to quickly develop and empower the company’s DX-leading professional talent.

 

 ExaWizards has developed a unique program using ExaWizards’ exaBase DX Assessment & Learning, a DX human resources assessment and training service.
 PERSOL TEMPSTAFF’s IT/DX Division (Technology Div., Business IT Div., Online Marketing Div., and DX Promotion Div.) has made the “Expedited DX Talent Development Program” available to employees in preparation for the personnel exchange program with the Business Division.
 Based on the results of the personnel assessment by exaBase DX Assessment & Learning, ExaWizards provides the necessary e-learning, individual courses such as planning and communication skills improvement, and other specialized skills required by the department and role. The goal is to increase the speed of acquiring the necessary specialized skills for each department and role.With this program, PERSOL TEMPSTAFF aims to reduce the time required for talent development from ≥5 years to 2 years.
 The program was kicked off in April 2022, and the company will strive to improve its delivery level of IT projects by March 2023. In 2024, the program will be utilized for the development of employees’ planning capabilities also, so that their improved project delivery abilities can be fully exercised.

  Overview of Expedited DX Talent Development Program
 The Expedited DX Talent Development Program offers the following services and courses (1 to 3).
 At the time of the development of the program, ExaWizards provided consultation services such as To-Be visualization, scheme design for talent development, and content organization/selection.

1.Assessment Services through exaBase DX Assessment & Learning
 The assessment services by exaBase DX Assessment & Learning are provided to both employees transferred to other departments and new hires four times a year (1. Right after being assigned to the department, 2. October, 3. January, and 4. March).

2.E-learning through exaBase DX Assessment & Learning
 All the necessary content for DX mindset/literacy development is available. Taking into account other learning curriculums, the e-learning course is of shorter duration than regular e-learning courses, so that the learner can learn efficiently.

3.Customized Courses through exaBase DX Assessment & Learning
*DX Specialist Development
 The learner can acquire the practical ability to work as a DX specialist through the mentoring program offered by the DX consultant who supports them from the beginning to the end of the course.
*Planning/Communication Capability Improvement Training
 The learner can learn how to write a story or message through this training so that they can create documents that enable them to deliver clear messages to their target audience. Managers who review such documents can also receive this training.

 PERSOL HOLDINGS established the three “Group priority strategies” in May 2020 taking up “Innovating through technologies” as one of them. Additionally, as part of the human resources strategy, PERSOL TEMPSTAFF encourages all employees to understand and learn the potential of technology so that they can improve the skills required for “Innovating through technologies.” One of the challenges of DX talent development is to identify the fundamental skills required for promoting the utilization of digital technology and develop a new framework for digital talent development.
 Under these circumstances, the IT/DX Division started to expedite the DX talent development plan and accelerated the enhancement of customer value as well as the improvement of work processes. Specifically, it improves project delivery abilities in Step 1, enhances planning capabilities in Step 2, and strengthens development skills in Step 3. Later, a higher level of customer experience is explored in cooperation with the Operation Division in Step 4.
 In this initiative, ExaWizards has been providing consultation services combined with exaBase DX Assessment & Learning and other customized courses since 2020 while supporting PERSOL TEMPSTAFF in solving various issues.

 The examinee who takes the online test (approx. 30 minutes) receives scores for their abilities in digital technologies and innovation, both of which are indispensable to implementing and promoting DX. Also, their “skills” and “know-how” are simultaneously measured so that the company can identify those ready for duties to promote DX and smoothly create a talent development plan.
 The potential of the examinee is identified, and they realize what they can do if the potential is improved while receiving advice on what to do to get higher scores or participating in the talent development programs, and  e-learning optimized for them. In addition to the measurement of individual skills and know-how, exaBase DX Assessment & Learning allows the company to check the online analysis report of the entire organization. In comparison with the data average in the world, the company can figure out its current position vis-a-vis competition for the promotion of DX from an objective standpoint.
