ExaWizards subsidiary ExaHomeCare Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Satoshi Ishino; hereinafter, “ExaHomeCare”) that develops and sells AI-based nursing care and welfare equipment-related services, has begun providing its AI gait analysis tool “CareWiz toruto” on an OEM basis.
The OEM version of CareWiz toruto, “Sachiaru toruto for Massage,” is now available at approximately 350 directly operated and franchisee locations of Fureasu. This service crosses the gait analysis AI developed based on the knowledge of physiotherapists with the assessment methods of Fureasu’s veteran practitioners, enabling the AI to propose a massage treatment plan for in-home massage that is suited to the user.
In the future, “CareWiz toruto” will support the development of services that enable high-quality proposals based on scientific evidence by promoting collaboration with other industries and OEM provision.

“Sachiaru toruto for Massage” is an AI-based gait analysis tool, which was customized for acupuncture/massage therapies, and which was developed as a OEM product of “CareWiz toruto,” which conducts an easy gait analysis with the video footage of a walking subject taken by a smartphone to assess the person’s walking pattern and fall risk by utilizing its AI developed based on the knowledge of physiotherapists. The AI that has learned the assessment methods of well-experienced massage therapists offers an optimal massage plan appropriate for the customer based on the video footage of the person walking 5 meters.
☑︎Future Development – Utilizing the management resources and know-how of both companies, jointly develop more scientifically based services
ExaWizards has been working on easier and more science-based gait analysis and on-site assessment support through ExaHomecare’s AI gait analysis tool “CareWiz toruto,” which utilizes AI technology and the expertise of physical therapists.
Through its massage business and its research business, Future Creation Lab, Fureasu has been working to improve user satisfaction by providing effective treatments and to increase the efficiency of treatment plan creation through the use of AI.
ExaWizards, which promotes the use of AI in the nursing care field, and Fureasu, which operates a nationwide home nursing and home care service mainly for the elderly in the home massage business, will utilize their management resources and know-how to jointly develop a service that makes it possible to analyze the data accumulated at Fureasu and make optimal proposals to users.
