Exa Enterprise AI Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takuma Oue; hereinafter “Exa Enterprise AI“), a group company of ExaWizards Inc., is pleased to announce that Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Idemitsu”) has begun implementing our “exaBase IR Assistant.” Idemitsu will utilize specialized generative AI for information disclosures to achieve a digital transformation (DX) in staff operations and to create a system that focuses on high-value-added information disclosures.
ExaWizards signed a business alliance agreement with Idemitsu in November 2022 and will continue to support efforts to increase their corporate value through DX.

Idemitsu has been working to enhance disclosure materials and expand communication opportunities with the market, such as by enriching earnings presentation materials and holding ESG top seminars with external directors based on market interest and demands. These efforts led to Idemitsu’s selection as the best company in the energy sector for the second year in a row by the “Excellent Disclosure Company Selection by Securities Analysts” for fiscal year 2024.
After considering the need for improvements in IR operations, Idemitsu concluded that they needed to streamline existing operations. The company decided to implement “exaBase IR Assistant,” a generative AI service specialized for IR operations. Implementing this generative AI service tool will allow Idemitsu to streamline operations that require significant resources, such as creating and reviewing minutes and anticipated Q&A, allowing for timely feedback within the company and better resource allocation to high-value-added tasks. This generative AI service will also be utilized by the public relations department to streamline the creation of minutes and other tasks.

ExaWizards signed a business alliance agreement with Idemitsu in November 2022. The collaboration leverages Idemitsu’s extensive data and customer base with ExaWizards’ technical expertise, digital and AI business development capabilities, and their experience in human resource development and domain knowledge. Their goal for fiscal year 2024 is to improve productivity and create new value in Idemitsu’s DX strategy by promoting and disseminating generative AI.
