NS Solutions Corporation introduces “exaBase IR Assistant” – Creating a System for Focused IR Activities with a Business-Specific Generative AI –

Exa Enterprise AI Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takuma Oue; hereinafter “Exa Enterprise AI“), a group company of ExaWizards Inc., is pleased to announce that NS Solutions Corporation (hereinafter “NSSOL“) is introducing our “exaBase IR Assistant” to the IR Department of their Management Headquarters to digitally transform (DX) their operations and establish a system that focuses on disclosing value-added information. ExaWizards and NSSOL signed a business partnership agreement in May 2023, leveraging each other’s customer bases, sales strategies, domain knowledge related to customer operations, and technological capabilities in the digital and AI fields.

☑ Background
The IR Department at NSSOL’s Management Headquarters primarily handles communications with shareholders. They place significant importance on engagement with the capital market, conducting 180 IR meetings (domestic and international) with institutional investors and analysts and holding overseas roadshows twice a year. They also communicate with shareholders through quarterly financial results briefings and enhanced information disclosures.
NSSOL has been exploring the use of business-specific generative AI as an assistant tool to maximize their limited resources and enhance their IR activities. They decided to introduce exaBase IR Assistant, a generative AI service specialized for IR tasks, to transform their work processes by streamlining the preparation of meeting minutes and allocating resources to higher-value-added tasks.
In the future, NSSOL plans to explore the use of generative AI across other business domains.

Since the release of the product version in October 2023, exaBase IR Assistant has been introduced to many Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed companies, including JR East Japan, Murata Manufacturing, Toyoda Gosei, Nagoya Railroad, GENDA, Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings, Tokyu Corporation, Hikari Food Service, Seibu Holdings, Topcon, Kyocera, and Sumitomo Forestry, SG Holdings, Idemitsu Kosan, Shionogi, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, multiple major financial institutions, comprehensive trading companies, telecommunications companies, semiconductor companies, etc. It is used in many organizations responsible for general meetings of shareholders, such as IR, general affairs, legal affairs, management planning, and accounting.

exaBase IR Assistant utilizes AI to generate meeting minutes from audio and video of IR meetings for analysis and potential questions. It also provides an AI that automatically generates anticipated questions and corresponding answers for financial briefings, shareholder meetings, press conferences, and other briefings using various IR documents as data sources and incorporating company-specific information.
In the future, Exa Enterprise AI will collaborate with external information sources and release new features for exaBase IR Assistant to support information disclosure practices of listed companies through “IR Tech.”
