Leading Experts on the Cutting Edge of AI/DX Gather Together from Japan and Around the World Online Event “ExaForum 2021” will be Held on 18th & 19th May, 2021

ExaWizards Inc., a company that develops AI-enabled services to solve social issues (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Ko Ishiyama; hereafter, “ExaWizards”) will host the online event “ExaForum2021” for two days on Tuesday, 18th and Wednesday, 19th May 2021.

As the interest in AI introduction and DX (digital transformation) is increasing by the day, ExaWizards has organized the online event “ExaForum2021” to create opportunities to think about “how we can make Japan (society) better” together with executives and/or digital human resources who are promoting DX in the enterprises and company personnel who is to promote DX in the near future, as well as those who are engaged in introduction of AI and promotion of DX in local governments, medical institutions, educational institutions and nursing care services providers.

During the event, several sessions will be held for two days under the theme “Resolution of social issues x AI” with presentations by the leading experts on the cutting edge of AI/DX both from Japan and around the world. With advance registration for the event, all video recordings of the seminar presentations are free to watch anytime for one month after the event is over. As the event is held using the virtual event system, participants can join the event by accessing the 3D-designed hall. Although it is online, visit to exhibitors’ booths and communications with other participants as well as the online seminar will give you a realistic experience, making you feel that you are actually attending the event.

Ms. Nina Xiang

She is an expert on the Chinese venture capital and technology sector with nearly twenty years of financial and business media experience. She is an agenda contributor for the World Economic Forum, and also a founder of China Money Network, an AI-based platform tracking China’s smart investments and technology innovation.

Dr. Mauro Guillen
The author of 2030: How Today’s Biggest Trends Will Collide and Reshape the Future of Everything
He is the holder of the Zandman Endowed Professorship in International Management at the Wharton School. He served as Director of the Lauder Institute of Management & International Studies between 2007 and 2019. He received a Ph.D. in sociology from Yale University and a Doctorate in political economy from the University of Oviedo in his native Spain.
He is a trustee of the Royal Foundation of Spain, known as the Fundación Princesa de Asturias, a member of the advisory board of the Escuela de Finanzas Aplicadas (Grupo Analistas), and serves on advisory groups at the World Economic Forum.

Dr. Eric Topol
The author of Deep Medicine: How Artificial Intelligence Can Make Healthcare Human Again
He is a genomics professor at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. He is the founder of Scripps Research Translational Institute. He has been voted as the #1 most influential physician leader in the United States in a national poll conducted by Modern Healthcare. He is one of the Top 10 Most Cited Researchers in Medicine, Doctor of the Decade, Institute for Scientific Information, Thomson Reuters. In 2016, he was awarded a $207M grant to lead a significant part of the Precision Medicine Initiative, a one million American prospective research program.

Dr. Ken Kusunoki
Professor, Hitotsubashi ICS
He completed the Doctoral Program at the Hitotsubashi University’s Graduate School of Commerce in 1992. After serving as an assistant professor at Hitotsubashi University and Hitotsubashi University Institute of Innovation Research, assumed the current post in 2010. He specializes in competitive strategy and innovation. 
His books include Competitive Strategy as a Narrative Story, Likes, Dislikes, and Management, Likes, Dislikes, and Talent, Logic in the Sense of Management, Anyway You Want It, That’s The Way You Need It, It Starts from Your Likes and Dislikes, Reading Strategies, and Reverse Time Machine Management Theory.

Dr. Junichi Rekimoto
Information Scientist
Professor, Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies at The University of Tokyo, Fellow, Deputy Director of Research, Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Inc., and Director, Sony CSL Kyoto. He invented NaviCam, the world-first mobile AR system in the 1990’s, leading the world in the basic research for multi-touch system. He is now working on the theme of “Human Augmentation” to realize the Internet of Abilities (IoA), the vision for the future society where the abilities of humans and AI are interconnected and evolved beyond the network. He is an author of Head that Is Imagining, Hands that Are Thinking; How to Grow Ideas Beyond Imagination.

Ms. Yuka Tanimoto
Editor-in Chief of Forbes JAPAN Web
After working for a securities firm and as a financial and economic anchor at Bloomberg TV, she earned her MBA in the US in 2004. She then worked as a newscaster at Nikkei CNBC and served as its first female commentator. She has interviewed more than 3,000 VIPs, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Starbucks founder Howard Schultz.
