2.Comments
Comment of Mr. Kiyotaka Sasaki:
DX, as typified by FinTech, is rapidly advancing in the financial industry, and the way financial regulations should respond to this and the regulatory responses that utilize DX are important issues for both financial regulators and financial institutions. The consistent development of both RegTech for financial institutions to comply with financial regulations and the use of DX in the supervision of financial regulators is expected to enhance the sophistication and efficiency of financial operations, financial regulations, and financial markets as a whole.
I hope to contribute to these goals through the synergy of my past experience at financial regulators and ExaWizards’ AI expertise.

Comment of Ko Ishiyama, Representative Director &President, ExaWizards
Regulations related to the financial industry are frequently changed and updated, with some sort of regulatory change occurring every seven minutes around the world. The World Economic Forum (WEF) released a white paper in April 2022, which states that “RegTech is an essential element to keep up with the pace of real-world change and regulatory updates. While complying with regulations is an essential initiative for financial institutions, there are limits to how much information can be gathered manually as in the past, given the frequent changes and updates to regulations. By combining Kiyotaka Sasaki’s knowledge of the latest trends in global financial regulations with our AI technology and know-how, we aim to develop a solution that will enable Japanese financial institutions to respond to regulatory updates efficiently and effectively.
