Digitization and integration of medical information is considered an important issue internationally, but in Japan, it is not progressing as well as expected. On the other hand, with the rapid adoption of AI, the positioning of multimodal AI with a flexible and secure platform that can handle diverse data and multifaceted analytical functions that can make maximum use of it is becoming more important than ever before. Since its inception, ExaWizards has been consistently engaged in business development, including strategic planning, development, and implementation of services that utilize AI, and has accumulated a wealth of proprietary algorithms as a multi-sector, multi-modal strategy. In addition, since last year, MDV has been fully implementing its open alliance strategy, and has chosen ExaWizards as one of the partners to collaborate with as it seeks to effectively utilize the largest*2 medical practice database in Japan.
ExaWizards, with its strength in multimodal AI technology, and MDV, which has the largest amount of medical data in Japan, will cooperate to promote data-driven businesses that utilize vast amounts of medical data and AI, including digital biomarkers (biological data collected and measured quantitatively using digital terminals) and real world data (data obtained from real clinical practice and real society).
By promoting data-driven businesses that utilize vast amounts of medical data and AI, it will become possible to identify potential markets and provide personalized services that were previously invisible. In addition to the above services, we will also focus on the field of rare diseases, where there is a large development pipeline and further expansion of demand is expected in the future. We will identify and screen potential markets based on medical data and develop patient-centered service programs in the field of rare diseases. Through collaboration between the two companies, we aim to develop innovative medical services and their social implementation, which was not possible in the past.
