(Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Kensuke Hosomi, hereinafter “FamilyMart”) has adopted the corporate ChatGPT service “exaBase Generative AI powered by GPT-4”. FamilyMart utilizes this service primarily for its head office operations, with Exa Enterprise AI providing comprehensive support including prompt improvement, templatization, usage analysis, and training. It has been found that in head office operations, related work time could be reduced by up to approximately 50%. Additionally, about 3,000 employees, including store management support staff (abbreviated as SVs), have started using the service.

FamilyMart has been utilizing exaBase Generative AI powered by GPT-4 (exaBase Generative AI) since December 2023. In a verification conducted at FamilyMart during January and February 2024, tasks such as editing documents and reports, creating employee training materials, compiling survey results, and handling inquiries from SVs to head office staff were targeted. It was found that work time for head office operations could be reduced by up to approximately 50%. This insight will be leveraged to aim for company-wide operational efficiency.
