ExaWizards’ “RAGOps” Supports AWS Generative AI Service “Amazon Bedrock”
– Supporting Secure Business Data Integration in AI App Development Environment “exaBase Studio,” Expanding Business Opportunities with the Support of AWS –

ExaWizards Inc. (Minato, Tokyo, Representative Director & President: Makoto Haruta, hereinafter ExaWizards) is pleased to announce that “RAGOps,” an application template for ExaWizards’ AI application development environment “exaBase Studio,” now supports generative AI application building service “Amazon Bedrock.” This allows customers to develop and utilize generative AI applications by selecting an optimal model on Amazon Bedrock and securely integrating their business data. “RAGOps” is already available starting in May 2024.


As the use of generative AI becomes more widespread, there is growing interest in RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) for their ability to process and analyze unique customer data using generative AI. On the other hand, users have raised concerns such as “not achieving the expected results” and “worrying about the spread of incorrect answers due to hallucinations.”
To counter this, ExaWizards designed the RAGOps application template on exaBase Studio, which provides continuous improvements to answer quality by aggregating past delivery insights. These templates make it possible to add or reconfigure data management, AI, and software processing, facilitating the development and prototyping of AI applications.

☑︎Service
With the support from Amazon Web Services (AWS), ExaWizards has designed a system that directly invokes Amazon Bedrock through exaBase Studio applications operating in AWS environments, allowing AWS users to send and receive business data securely. The Amazon Bedrock service can use generative AI foundation models from AI21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta, Stability AI, Amazon, and others via API. It is characterized by supporting multi-modal data types, such as text and images. This Amazon Bedrock support allows users to select effective foundation models and improve the accuracy of RAGOps.

☑︎Secure and Compliant
RAGOps encloses data communication between the exaBase Studio platform and Amazon Bedrock for secure use. Amazon Bedrock protects data and generative AI applications, encrypting data both in transit and at rest, using AWS PrivateLink to establish private connections without exposing traffic to the internet.
Amazon Bedrock complies with common standards such as ISO, SOC, CSA STAR Level 2, the U.S. HIPAA security and privacy standards for healthcare IT, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

☑︎Availability
ExaWizards will provide RAGOps as an application template in exaBase Studio starting in May 2024. It will also connect to various generative AI foundation models through Amazon Bedrock, offering template functions to exaBase Studio’s licensed customers and through ExaWizards’ professional services. exaBase Studio is a development environment that combines internal and external AI models, services, and data to construct AI software. It’s intuitive Canvas UI assists with design and development, making processes visible and allowing easy participation and updates by engineers, managers, and other knowledgeable personnel.
