(hereinafter referred to as Microsoft), to support Azure OpenAI Services PTU for GPT-4o in the Microsoft Azure East Japan region. 550 companies and over 50,000 users currently use exaBase Generative AI from Exa Enterprise AI. Previously, Exa Enterprise AI’s exaBase Generative AI provided GPT-4o to users who requested it from overseas. This collaboration with Microsoft Japan to support Azure OpenAI Service PTU makes the following possible:

Announced May 13, 2024, GPT-4o provided by OpenAI features high accuracy, speed, and the ability to analyze images, expanding use cases as an advanced foundational model in the GPT series. But since it was not available in Japanese regions, many companies refrained from using it due to security and compliance concerns.
exaBase Generative AI from Exa Enterprise AI has been used by over 50,000 users across 550 companies since the paid service started in June 2023. It enhances user convenience by integrating with Microsoft services like Teams and Outlook.
To address security and compliance considerations while delivering accuracy and speed, Exa Enterprise AI is collaborating with Microsoft Japan to provide this service in the Azure East Japan region and to support the Azure OpenAI Service PTU.

Since its launch as a paid service in June 2023, exaBase Generative AI has been used by over 50,000 users across approximately 550 companies.It takes into account the security and compliance issues that are challenges for corporate use of generative AI, and provides features such as monitoring usage, registering prohibited words, and more for administrators. It also estimates the level of productivity improvement for each user, which can be visualized through graphs on the screen.
It is also possible to utilize generative AI based on the company’s own data. Users and administrators can upload their own files and use them for dialogue and generation.
