ExaWizards Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Makoto Haruta; hereinafter “ExaWizards”) has resolved to establish a new subsidiary, Exa Frontier Edge Inc. (“Exa Frontier Edge”), with a target establishment date of April 2026. Exa Frontier Edge will operate as an “AI-native” company, with its organizational design, development processes, and service delivery models all built from scratch on the assumption that AI agents will be fully utilized. By placing AI coding agents at the core of its development process, and having AI drive each phase—from design and development to testing and operations—the company aims to establish a new form of IT services, “AI-native SI,” that fundamentally transforms the speed, quality, and cost structure of systems development and operations (systems integration, or “SI”), which have traditionally depended on human labor and man-hours.
Specifically, Exa Frontier Edge will initially focus on two core business areas: next-generation systems development that makes full use of AI agents, and support for in-house development that enables companies to build their own applications using AI. The practical insights and know-how generated through these activities will be fed back into exaBase Studio, ExaWizards’ AI agent development and operations platform, and across the ExaWizards Group as a whole, accelerating the Group’s evolution. In recent years, advances in generative AI and AI agents have begun to significantly change how software is developed and how business operations are improved.
